There’s more than just being a buy to let investor, there are many people in the investment game these days. You want to be one of the best buy to let investors out there. By becoming a top investor, you’ll make money, know how to spot and avoid risks, and constantly have renters in your properties. But how do you do this without risking money?
Well, there’s not an easy, risk-free way to become a great buy to let investor. However, you don’t have to go out and purchase a large number of properties. While owning many buy to let investments used to be the norm, today’s landlord often only owns a few properties. Some, in fact, only own one buy to let home. Starting small is a good idea. You want to be able to use the income from your first properties to help finance additional purchases. Ideally, the properties you purchase will increase in value so that you can sell one of them to pay off the mortgages on several other properties. Once you’ve paid off the mortgages, the rental income becomes free money.
